My dream come true?

I really want to go live in a foresty, mountainy town (Twin Peaks would be ideal, but I'm open to other locations). So how about this wall mural?! I think yes!

Couldn't find a mountain themed Townes song on YouTube I liked (what's with that Mr Tube?) so here is a song that would still fit in well in my mountain town/mountain-on-my-inner-city-apartment-wall life

Snoop

Style Like U is my new Selby. It's less shiny and seemingly more regularly updated. Yay! I'm a total snoop, Im not going to lie. I love snooping in peoples houses, rooms and closets. So I love websites like these because they let me be a snoop in the privacy of my own home! I'm moving soon as Bif is leaving soon (sob, sob, weep, weep, sad face) so these kinds of things are right up my alley right now. Wardrobe consolidation is going well-ish...let's talk about that another time. Anyway here is Pamela Love's hidey hole. Remember Pamela Love? Golden talon ring! Big lips.

A cup of insult?

With one of us flying the coop very soon - the other one of us (me, Sarah) is looking into solo living. Sob. Sob. SOB! Once I get over the fact that my BFF will no longer be my BFE (best flatmate ever) I think this will be quite an exciting little time for me. I hope. Anywaaaaay...I ramble. What I really want to talk about, or really just show y'all, or really just post pictures of, are these here 'Vandalized Vintage China' thing-a-ma-jigs from Trixie Delicious. Though I'm not really the one for the crafty, cutesy interior these are a bit of alright. I saw these a few years ago (the exact same peeps? I'm not sure) in a Frankie magazine or something that way inclined and was a bit meh-ed by it all at the time. But maybe my inner-nesting is starting to kick in at the thought of being home alone or something. But yeah. I'll shut up. Just yeah.

Graceland, 1965

Elvis either had one keen eye for interior design or he hired someone who did.

Shiny but not cosy

Julia Restoin Roitfeld is my big hair, big eye-browed idol. She makes me feel good about mine. A peek into her abode via The Selby made me feel slightly like a green-eyed monster, mainly aimed towards the below shoes. However, it also made me rather happy with my little hidey hole. While I will admit is slightly on the colder side of the temperature scale, it actually looks like a room - not an art gallery.
