If I could draw like this, I would be one happy camper. These are by Denise Nestor - some really awesome stuff coming up in an exhibition in Dublin called 'Brainbelt'. I think I have to get my pencils out and practice again coz at this point I'd be hard stretched to draw a 3-d cube.

STELLAAAAAA!!!

So, Stella McCartney. I wouldn't really wear her clothes. Not that I don't like her clothes, they are just not really me. But what is me is 17th Century Dutch art. I loves it. And because I'm an annoying and predictable girl, I especially like the still life and vanitas. So, imagine my warm fuzzy feeling when I saw these in the Stella McCartney Resort collection this year. Very warm, very fuzzy.

Cool right? Yeah, thought so. But, would I wear these? Maybe the mini-dress to a wedding. But seeing as the only wedding I'm attending in the near future is one where my outfit is chosen for me, I'll give this a pass. Maybe if I was in my 30s, and married to an investment banker. Maybe. But what I do love about Stella Mc.C is her knack for underwear. Oh I'm sorry, lingerie. Triangle lace bras, a sure way to a girl's, ahem, heart. Lol.

But seriously, so beautiful. This is some Stella McCartney I wouldn't mind wearing a.s.a.p. Potential sugar daddys take note.

I don't even know what to title this shit as.

So we know this guy Ken. Who sent in a request. For us to blog about elephants who paint. God knows why. So, the 8 minute video of an elephant painting, as amazers as it is, gets a bit boring after a while. Homie's got to work on his speed now he has the technique down pat. So here is a picture of a PAINTED elephant as well as a video of elephants painting.

Is it just me or are elephants kind of a sad animal? Not just that they are being forced to paint, but elephants in general. They don't always seem all that happy...unlike, say, Shetland ponies...!!!

OH. MY. GOD. !. These guys are cute with a capital Q!

Jon Benet anyone?

Look Bif, you started a trend. These are by artist Gretchen Ryan and I think they are totally awesome. A bit perverse. A bit haunting. A bit beautiful. A lot appealing.

An Artist at Versailles

And it's not Jeff Koons. No, it's Xavier Veilhan. Todd Selby investigated the show that is currently on at Versailles. Some of it I non like. But some, the murple balloons in particular, I do like. But I think I just love Versailles so much I just have to like something. Versailles = my favorite place in the world. Actually to be more precise, the Grand Trianon = my favorite place in the world.
